What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data I collect, why, how long I keep it, who I share it with and what rights you have.
Data I may collect
From the contact form or email:
- name, email address, company name
- message content and project details you send
- any other details you choose to share
From calls or project work:
- contact details, meeting notes, files and credentials you provide for the work
- billing details needed for invoices
From the website (if enabled):
- basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device and pages visited
- cookies or similar technologies, as described below
I do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data. Please do not send that through the form unless we specifically need it for the project.
Why I process your data
- to reply to enquiries and discuss projects (legitimate interest / steps before a contract)
- to deliver agreed services and communicate during a project (contract)
- to send invoices and meet legal bookkeeping duties (legal obligation)
- to improve the website and understand basic traffic, if analytics are on (consent or legitimate interest, depending on setup)
- to show relevant ads or measure campaigns only if you have agreed where consent is required
Legal bases (AVG / GDPR)
Depending on the situation: contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest, or consent.
How long I keep data
- enquiries that do not become a project: usually up to 12 months
- project and contract records: for the duration of the work, then as long as Dutch bookkeeping and tax rules require (often 7 years for invoices)
- analytics data: according to the tool settings, typically 14 months or shorter
I delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
Your rights
Under the AVG / GDPR you can ask to:
- access your data
- correct inaccurate data
- delete data (where allowed)
- restrict or object to certain processing
- receive a copy of data you provided (portability), where applicable
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Children
This site and my services are aimed at businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No online transmission is fully secure, so please use strong unique passwords for any accounts we set up together.

I may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page, with an updated date.
